A GIANT Celebration in New York City

Sunday, February 6 marked the 46th Annual Super Bowl Game where long-time rival sports fans from New York and Boston found themselves head to head once again.  Just four years after the big upset in 2008, the New England Patriots were defeated again by the New York Giants (led by the well-deserving Super Bowl MVP, Quarterback Eli Manning) with a final score of 21-17.

In celebration of the big win – and in true New York Fashion – nearly 1 million Giants fans gathered in downtown New York City on Tuesday morning for the ticker tape Parade of Champions.  The parade started at the southern tip of Manhattan and worked its way up to City Hall Plaza, where New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg nicknamed the city the “Big Blue Apple” and handed the team honorary keys.

The best part of the festivities? PRCo USA got to join in the fun.  We headed downtown in our Big Blue best and cheered as Eli Manning, Victor Cruz, Justin Tuck, Brandon Jacobs and the rest of the New York Giants passed by with the Lombardi Trophy hoisted high above their heads.  Just one of the many reasons we’re proud to be New Yorkers.
