March 2021 – PRCO has been appointed by Costa Smeralda to coordinate and implement global PR in Italy, Russia, the UK and the USA.
Founded in March 1962 at the behest of Prince Karim Aga Khan, Consorzio Costa Smeralda was created to support planning and balancing urban and residential development within the territory. Located in the northeast of Sardinia, Costa Smeralda is one of the largest, and most expensive, private touristic destinations in the world.
For almost 60 years, the Consorzio has enhanced the tourist destination by protecting the area’s natural beauty and 55km of Sardinian coastline. Costa Smeralda comprises the Marina of Porto Cervo, the Yacht Club, the famous Promenade and Pevero Golf Club, as well as iconic hotels such as Hotel Romazzino and Hotel Cala di Volpe.
The campaign will drive awareness of the protective and managing body for the destination, whilst driving awareness of Costa Smeralda as an international destination with an authentically Italian personality.
