The ideal candidate
You are a seasoned PR professional with 3-5 years of experience, ideally in a fast-paced agency or in-house environment. You are a natural storyteller with the ability to shape compelling narratives that connect with target audiences. Confident and articulate, you’re skilled at presenting ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and media alike.
You have an established and ever-growing network of media contacts, content creators, KOLs, and brand partners in the GCC. You stay ahead of trends, cultural shifts, and industry movements-and know how to turn them into opportunities. You’re both strategic and hands-on, comfortable leading day-to-day client work while also contributing to big-picture thinking.
Highly organised and collaborative, you can manage multiple client accounts with confidence, lead junior team members, and build strong relationships internally and externally. You’re proactive, creative, and focused on delivering meaningful results.
Your responsibilities will include:
Account and client management
- Lead day-to-day client communications and maintain strong relationships
- Oversee the planning and execution of press functions, press trips, and media-facing events
- Deliver well-structured, compelling client reports and present campaign results with clarity
- Support senior leadership in developing strategic client proposals and PR plans
Media relations and storytelling
- Craft and pitch engaging stories, press releases, interview opportunities, and features
- Secure high-quality media coverage aligned with client objectives
- Grow and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, influencers, and KOLs
- Identify and act on relevant news and cultural moments to generate media opportunities
Campaign management
- Lead the development of creative campaign ideas and activations
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and drive the implementation of innovative PR campaigns
- Manage third-party research, partnerships, and brand collaborations to support client goals
Team leadership and collaboration
- Guide and mentor Account Executives and Interns, ensuring high-quality output
- Review coverage reports and forward feature opportunities with the support of junior team members
- Work closely with our international offices to ensure alignment on global PR activity
Other
- Contribute to PRCO’s own marketing efforts and social media presence
- Represent the agency at industry events and networking opportunities
Requirements
- 3-5 years of PR experience in-house or in an agency setting in the GCC region
- Strong experience in travel, lifestyle or luxury sectors
- Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written) is a must
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead junior team members
- Strong media network and a passion for building new connections
